Welcome (Back) to our Website!

Whenever the Food Network re-broadcasts the Steak Fajita Throw Down with Bobby Flay, I usually receive a bunch of wonderful and encouraging emails and face book friends.  It’s so excellent to hear from all of you! It really does touch my heart to know (1) people care about our movement and (2) there are still so many more people who may be encouraged to hear about the Grace Before Meals message.

So, if you’re visiting the site for the first time, please consider signing up for the free weekly blasts, and encouraging family, friends and fellow parishioners to join our  forum as we send out free weekly inspiring messages, free recipes, and prayers that your family and friends can offer to remember the blessings of God’s Grace!

Also, I know the Food Network always appreciates your suggestions, comments and congratulations. So, let them know what you thought of the show!  It also encourages them to continue having family friendly shows and recipes like Grace Before Meals.

Finally, I know many people want the recipe for the Fusion Fajitas.  I am proud to say that we just entered into a great relationship with Double Day Books of New York City to publish the 3rd Edition of Recipes for Family Life, in which there will be new chapters, some new recipes, including the Fusion Fajitas, Guacamole, the Spicy Sour Cream Sauce as well as traditional Filipino Dishes from “mom’s kitchen” – such as pancit and chicken adobo with lemon grass and curry coconut milk!  Yes, true deliciousness to help bring the families back to the dinner table.  God willing book is due for release in the summer of 2010.  In the meantime, check out our other delicious recipes on line. I am confident these family friendly recipes can help satisfy the hungers until the fajita recipe is released to the hungry flock!

As I said, it’s great to hear from you. So, ff you want to leave messages, simply do so directly on the website, or you can contact me through my Facebook Friend Page. Also, many people invite me to come and give presentations at parishes, Dioceses, or group events. If interested, simply contact Joe Condit at for more details.

We are so glad you visited our site today, and please know there’s always a place at our table to celebrate God’s blessings!

For now, I wish you all a happy Epiphany Celebration!  You can view my little reflection by simply clicking this site and clicking on today’s date (January 3, 2010).

May you and your family experience the blessings of this day.

It’s a time to be thankful to God for the generous blessings he gives to us.  The Food on the table are great gifts and blessings. But, the food does not compare to the family and friends.   The greatest Gift is LIFE!  For that we are thankful, not just today, but every moment of our life!

Happy Thanksgiving.

I am priveleged to announce that Grace Before Meals ( & SQPN (another popular Catholic Podcast by Fr. Roderick of the Netherlands) have been nominated for a Podcasting Award.  This is quite an honor for Grace Befoere Meals as it’s only our first year running podcast shows! It’s a special honor knowing that our podcasts feature Mount St. Mary’s seminarians, President and Mrs. Powell of Mount St. Mary’s University, some of my family, and most importantly a positive, fun and Catholic message for families!

To win the nomination I encourage family, friends, parishioners, and faithfilled “foodies” to vote.  Unlike “illegal voters” in the current presidential elections, you can vote multiple times – in fact, one time per day!  Voting takes place starting October 23 and ends November 6th.  That means, each person has the potential to vote up to 12 times (1 time per day) before the deadline on November 6th! Please help us win this nomination by voting everyday, and praying a Hail Mary for our movement.

HERE’S HOW TO VOTE:  Simply go to the link <>  between October 23rd and November 6th.  Scroll down that page and click on Grace Before Meals under the “Food and Drink” category, and SQPN for the “Catholic Podcasting category.” Remember – vote everyday! The total amount of votes will determine the winner. I have been told that voting is fierce… so, let’s show them our faith!

Also, please pass this message to all of the people you know who may benefit from and

Thank you for being part of our movement and for helping us spread the message of Family & Faith & Food to the entire podcasting world!

With Mary’s Prayers and Christ’s Blessings!

Hey everyone!  I’m in Japan right now doing some parish presentations as well as a little seminar on leadership for some Japanese and Chinese College Students.  It’s been great seeing a different culture, and sharing the Grace Before Meals mission with some Japanese and American Families living abroad.  Also, I’m having a chance to sample some cuisine!  If I can afford it, I want to buy a really sharp Sushi Knife to practice my sushi skills – which, at this point, is nill!  But, practice makes perfect! After World Youth Day, I finally had a chance to catch up with some email.  I received on efrom a Dr. Paul C.  He’s a great blogger and Catholic New Media guy who I met at the Catholic New Media Celebration last June in Atlanta.  Well, he just sent me this neat little video about Saints.  After you see it, I wonder if  this will ever be used for the Litany of Saints?  Enjoy! And may all of the saint PRAY FOR US! Just in case the link doesn’t show up, here’s the direct address:
